Welcome to my web site. I have been keeping and spawning tropical fish since I was a teenager, over 30 years. I do work a regular job so this is my hobby not my profession although my wife says it's an obsession. I keep all kinds of fish from different areas but mostly I have cichlids from Africa.  I ship fish all over the country all year except for the real cold northern states. The cichlids from Africa are my favorites, I always have West African cichlids and cichlids and catfish from the Rift lakes. I also keep a number of cichlids from South and Central America. I also keep some Livebearers and plecos. This page is of some of my tanks and of the fish room.

West African Cichlid Maintenance Program

The goal of this program is to establish and maintain captive breeding populations of West African cichlid species in the USA. Most of these fish are not endangered at this time, but because most are only available as wild caught fish this program can help reduce the need to collect fish from the wild.
